Kelly Lindsey, CIM, CFP®, FCSI, FMA Financial Advisor / Associate Portfolio Manager

Kelly Lindsey is the founder of Okanagan Wealth Management Group of Raymond James Ltd. and has been a financial advisor for over 24 years. She is at the stage in her career where she not only possesses the credentials and experience; she also has the time horizon to work with clients for many years to come.

Kelly completed her Canadian Securities course in 1998 and has been working as a financial advisor since 1999. In 2001 she earned the gold standard of credentials, the Certified Financial Planner designation. In 2008 she earned the Financial Management Advisor designation and, in 2009, the most highly renowned designation, the Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute. Most recently Kelly earned her Chartered Investment Manager designation in 2022. Learning is something Kelly is passionate about.

Kelly’s clients will tell you that she is always there to help. From the design to the implementation of a plan, she can explain all the complexities in a way you will understand. When it comes to monitoring the investments and ensuring the plan is on track, you will hear from her on a regular basis. When things are not going as well as they should, which sometimes happens, we will review the options and get things back on track. If an investment is not doing well, we will work to find something that is. Reviews like this may only happen once or twice a year but keeping account balances growing makes all the difference! It is our client first approach that keeps everyone Kelly deals with happy. They even insist on referring their friends and family to her!

Kelly is a second generation Pentictonite. When she’s not hard at work at the office, Kelly enjoys photography, running, gardening, and renovating with husband Dave and their six children.

The Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM®) Designation builds the skills and experience we need to serve a more sophisticated financial client or institution. Financial professionals who hold the CIM® designation are eligible for registration as a Portfolio Manager in Canada. They have expertise in providing money management services to high-net-worth and institutional clients, and they understand the application of portfolio management in the context of Canadian markets and regulatory requirements

What do these designations mean for you? They mean that when you work with an investment consultant who has taken the time to complete these designations, you’re working with someone who is well-versed in modern concepts of investment advice, is educated enough to understand how your individual investments are being managed and how they work together – no matter how complex it may be. These skills, along with a commitment to advanced education, enable them to provide you with the kind of service that you not only want, but deserve.
